Morning Smoothie

Ingredients

For the Smoothie:

  • 1 Banana, frozen – I like to cut mine into coins, but that is totally optional.

  • ¾ Cup Cauliflower, frozen

  • ½ Cup Orange Juice

  • ½ Cup Non-Dairy Milk, I use almond milk, but any non-dairy milk works well! You can also use water, if you prefer.

  • ⅓ Cup Full Fat Coconut Milk, from the can; you can also use "light" coconut milk, if you prefer.

  • ½ Teaspoon Almond Extract

  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract

  • 1 Scoop Unflavored Protein Powder OR Collagen Peptides, For a plant-based option, you can also use 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed meal instead.

For the Garnishes:

  • ½ Teaspoon Orange Zest

  • Whipped Coconut Cream

Instructions 

  1. Start by adding all of your smoothie ingredients to a blender.

  2. Then, blend until it's smooth and reaches your desired consistency. If you like it thicker, you can add in more ice. If you like it more liquid-y, add in more of your liquids (orange juice, non-dairy milk, or coconut milk).

  3. Pour it into a large glass and garnish with your desired toppings.

  4. Serve and enjoy!



Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado

  • 1 large banana

  • 2 tbsp hemp hearts

  • 2 tsp ginger peeled, freshly grated

  • 2 tsp spirulina

  • 1 1/2 cups fresh spinach

  • 1 1/3 cups Greek Yogurt

  • 1/3 cup water

Instructions

  • Peel the avocado and banana, cut into slices and add into a high speed blender.

  • Add the rest of the ingredients, process until creamy.

  • Serve as it is, or pack to go.
