Morning Smoothie
Ingredients
For the Smoothie:
1 Banana, frozen – I like to cut mine into coins, but that is totally optional.
¾ Cup Cauliflower, frozen
½ Cup Orange Juice
½ Cup Non-Dairy Milk, I use almond milk, but any non-dairy milk works well! You can also use water, if you prefer.
⅓ Cup Full Fat Coconut Milk, from the can; you can also use "light" coconut milk, if you prefer.
½ Teaspoon Almond Extract
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
1 Scoop Unflavored Protein Powder OR Collagen Peptides, For a plant-based option, you can also use 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseed meal instead.
For the Garnishes:
½ Teaspoon Orange Zest
Whipped Coconut Cream
Instructions
Start by adding all of your smoothie ingredients to a blender.
Then, blend until it's smooth and reaches your desired consistency. If you like it thicker, you can add in more ice. If you like it more liquid-y, add in more of your liquids (orange juice, non-dairy milk, or coconut milk).
Pour it into a large glass and garnish with your desired toppings.
Serve and enjoy!
Green Smoothie
Ingredients
1 avocado
1 large banana
2 tbsp hemp hearts
2 tsp ginger peeled, freshly grated
2 tsp spirulina
1 1/2 cups fresh spinach
1 1/3 cups Greek Yogurt
1/3 cup water
Instructions
Peel the avocado and banana, cut into slices and add into a high speed blender.
Add the rest of the ingredients, process until creamy.
Serve as it is, or pack to go.
